Petra Segreta Resort & Spa is one of the most popular gourmet destinations in Costa Smeralda. The hotel has two restaurants: Il Fuoco Sacro is a simple and refined gourmet restaurant with views over the archipelago, while Osteria del Mirto offers a more informal atmosphere for lunch and is open only to guests staying at the hotel.
Five hectares of Mediterranean vegetation and granite boulders sculpted by the wind surround the two establishments and the new open air bar: an al fresco lounge in which to enjoy the best Sardinian and Italian wines – both before and after sunset – accompanied by Chef Luigi Bergeretto’s aperitifs. Two different experiences, but with a common culinary philosophy wherein the freshest and highest quality seasonal ingredients and produce from the resort’s own organic vegetable garden and farm are transformed, with respect and creativity, into Luigi’s dishes.
The Osteria del Mirto, on the opposite side from the Fuoco Sacro and facing the beautiful Hotel pool, is a Bistrot where you can enjoy simpler menus and tasty snacks in a warm, informal atmosphere.
Chef Luigi Bergeretto is a culinary creator at Petra Segreta Resort & Spa. Before coming to Sardinia, Luigi has worked at RAI Uno and has done important experiences abroad earning a prestigious 5-star diamond award, as well as many others.
