Five top Chefs guest at Il Petra Segreta Resort & Spa
The five-star Il Petra Segreta Resort & Spa is delighted to announce it is hosting an extended celebration of Sardinian and Italian haute cuisine between June 28 and August 23. The event spans four different evenings during which the resort’s Il Fuoco Sacro chef Luigi Bergeretto will be joined by three top Sardinian chefs, Roberto Serra, Achille Pinna and Stefano Deidda, and Italian haute cuisine icons, Bobo and Chicco Cerea.
A different menu will be crafted by Luigi Bergeretto and the guest chef of the day on each occasion: a fantastic meeting of different experiences and culinary directions but with a shared respect for genuine ingredients.
On all three evenings, guests can sample wines from our three partner wineries, Surrau, Contini and Tenute Olbios. Each will be working with a different chef to pair its finest vintages with the various dishes of the evening.

ROBERTO SERRA gets the culinary ball rolling on Wednesday, June 28. At the Su Carduleu restaurant in the little town of Abbasanta, Roberto focuses on Sardinian cuisine, brilliantly reworking a selection of the traditional dishes inspired by locally-grown ingredients, which are also the stars of the menu crafted with chef Luigi Bergeretto.

On Wednesday, July 12, the Chef de Maison welcomes ACHILLE PINNA whose Da Achille restaurant is in Sant’Antioco, home of great fish and seafood. Pinna’s love of the sea is the leitmotif linking all the dishes the two chefs will be serving up on the night. Needless to say, all will be inspired by the local catch.

July 26 brings the welcome return of the now-traditional Relais & Chateaux Gourmet Festival. For this very special occasion, brothers BOBO AND CHICCO CEREA will tearing themselves away from their multi-Michelin-starred Da Vittorio restaurant in Brusaporto (BG) to join Luigi Bergeretto. Together they will create a menu that alternates the flavours of sea and land with the sublime creativity and originality that only truly great chefs can achieve.

On August 23, it is young STEFANO DEIDDA’s turn to join the Petra Segreta Resort chef. Stefano was awarded his first Michelin star this year and in charge of the kitchen at Cagliari’s Dal Corsaro restaurant, which itself has made a huge contribution to the gastronomic history of Sardinia’s capital. The menu on the final evening in this celebration of Sardinian cuisine will have an imaginative, avant-garde stamp.
